Willsenton R8 - Automatic Volume Pot
Hi,
Is there a way to get rid off the irritating built in motorized version of volume potentiometer?
According to marketing specs it is: Japanese ALPS high-end motor potentiometer.
Is it 50K or 100K logarithmic potentiometer?

OK, I can do that. Thank you for your input. I will check it out next time when I open the amplifier. Now, I'm in the listening session since I have upgraded all the inner components and tubes.
At the moment, I'm using the pot in the region with least distortion i.e. from 9-12 o'clock position without any issues (manually adjusted of course).
