If you look around on Mouser you can find chassis mount banana jacks that are good because then you don't have to worry about probes slipping off test points.

Yes, that was the plan..got some Mullard 6EJ7's. That way I can keep things as a discrete pair right up to the power supply. Going solid state there...just don't trust new production GZ34's anymore...they're about 50% smaller than a real Mullard. Already got a nice chunky Antek toroidal 400VA. Now gathering the passive parts.
