Skunkie! Thank you so much for the quick reply. No scope, but I can measure the voltages using a multimeter, yes? What I don't know is the proper setting on the MM before I stick probes in there. What sort of voltages would be reasonable to expect? And what pin would I be testing on the tube sockets? My apologies, I know just enough about this to be confident to proceed once I have assurances I'm doing the right thing. 😆 Also, interesting you mentioned the KT88/EL34 switch, as I had just done that shortly after my original post. I've watched all your R8 videos, and took your advice to heart. Starting with the output upgraded resistors and the bias boards and pots. Front end next. Thanks again.

Could it be as simple as replacing the 22k resistors with 10k, thus foregoing the need for the 5k and 18k resistors?
