I'm new to these forums, my name is Adam. I've been watching Skunkie's videos for some time. I'm not technical enough to understand most of what she's doing, but I can kind of follow along. She's fantastic! And that brings me to a request of you all. A year or two ago, I made an impulsive buy, I picked up a Boyuurange A50. I've been bi-amping my system with two BEL 1000 SS amps, which I love, but I've always wanted to try a tube amp for the high end and heard really great things about 300b tubes. I then figured, well, this is supposed to be a relatively simple design, so go cheap on the amp spend my money on the tubes and, again, impulsively bought a pair of Pvsane Western Electric clones. But now I'm nervous to put them into this cheap amp. So, when I saw Skunkie's mods, I decided I should do those first so at least the amp was solid and might actually benefit from these tubes.

Then I got really sick and had to put all my attention on recovering, which is taking a very long time, but I think I'm at a point where I can set up my system again. The problem is, I have zero skill at doing these mods. I tried making my own cables and was only partially successful. Anyway, does anyone know of somebody in Los Angeles who can do these mods for a reasonable price? Also, this condition I have has disabled me and I can't move around well at all. I could use help setting up the system again. I think I can pay a nominal fee. THANKS!!!
