By way of introduction, I'm a middle-aged guy in Kalamazoo, MI. Very new to this hobby. I have never attempted to build anything as yet. I was wondering where a good place to start would be? What is a good "first build" project? Spud? Bottlehead? Elekit? Other? I have owned a Yaquin MC-10L and currently own a Bob Carver Crimson 275 with a 10 Octave Audio tube pre-amp. I like my current rig well enough. It gets the job done, but in terms of "experiencing tube magic" and all the wonderful sounds therein - I have yet to experience any of that. Will any of these kits get me there?
