What I would to is run a wire on each of your 2 speaker connections - the White wire to your star ground - the other would be to remove the shield ground on the shielded wire at the RCA input jacks and run seperate wires to ground - (The shielded wire only needs to be grounded at the other end to avoid ground loops)
Thanks Dan. The tab at the phono jack is isolated from the chassis, and the shields are only connected to the ground on the potentiometer and the star ground point. When I first listen to the amp, if there is any hum, that is the first thing I will look at.
And I guess I agree with grounding the speaker output commons.
Unfortunately, when I went to plug in my tubes, one pin hole was plugged with solder! I am awaiting the arrival of it's replacement.'
