Sharing my first ever tube amp build. This is essentially a clone of the Marblewood design from Cascade Tubes at https://www.cascadetubes.com/the-6v6-marblewood-amp/
This is a SE design using a 12AU7 or 12AX7 to drive a pair of 6V6S power tubes in UL mode. It makes ~2.5W/channel with ~2.5% THD. I've set it up with a pair of Klipsch R-41M speakers (90dB) and rarely need over 1W for full enjoyment. At that level the THD is closer to ~1%. This amp is also absolutely dead quiet when it should be.
Many thanks to the many internet resources that guided me. I'm very pleased with my first project.

I built Marblewood amp this summer. Instead of 12au7/ax7and 6V6 I used 6C2C and 6П6П USSR tubes, custom made output transformers (20-30 000 Hz on -3 dB, 4, 8 and 16 Ω outputs and 25% and 43% ultralinear switchable outputs).
I like how it sounds and its versatility: it plays good not only lightweight music like jazz or blues, but even the most skullbreaking metal bands like Meshuggah, Septic Flesh and Morbid angel and that means ot is very well constructed.
Very nice. I have some 6V6 tubes now, might need to build one of these :) Looking at the schematic, looks like a nice design. I can't help but want to toss a Schade feedback resistor in it :P
You couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. You’re amp looks very nice.
Looks super. Like it!
