Hi, it's been a while because I have moved since my last post. I am now set up in the current house and started doing the mods to this amp. I thought I heard on one of the videos that you can mod an A10 just by following instructions for the A12. Now I am not so sure. For example, on the front end tube socket, bare like at the beginning of video 2, my A10 does not have a wire going to pin 9 and pins 4 and 5 each have a wire but they are not connected to each other. Skunkie says it is easy to change an A10 to an A12 but I can not find instructions.
I have tapped all the tubes several times and it doesn't affect the static from the speaker. I am wondering if doing the Skunkie mods would fix this problem?

Appreciate any help...
If you swap tubes side for side does the static follow one pair of tunes?
Are you seeing any flashing in the centre rectifier tube?
