Just wondering what recommendations there are for hook up wire? I have 22awg here but feel maybe not thick enough??
I use 18ga solid for 99% of my wiring, mainly because it stays in place and I only have to stock one ga of wire. I've used 14ga solid for something like the ground from the output tube cathodes on a 300B amp to the star ground point, and 22ga stranded to power the LED on a power switch.
18 gauge for heaters and 20 for everything else is what I've always been told, but I only know enough to be dangerous.
I use both 18 awg stranded and 20 awg solid, in various places.
