When I was a kid I watched and learned about electronics with my dad building Heathkit stuff. As an adult, I have learned that I have absolutely no skills in the building department. I am, however, still loving audio gear and music. Somewhere between being broke and being cheap, I can't see spending huge sums on the hobby, so I'm not paying much attention to the highest high-end stuff.
